<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized electric precipitator in which optimum action is obtained even if an altitude above the sea level is changed during use, and a power source and a device itself are kept small-sized ones and simultaneously reliability is maintained. SOLUTION: A device consists of a fan for sucking fresh air to discharge it, an ionization chamber communicating with a suction port for fresh air, and a dust collecting chamber connected to the ionization chamber and communicating with a discharge port for fresh air, and it is provided with pulse transformers T1 , T2 which are a high voltage generating part for applying DC high voltage to the ionization chamber and the dust collecting chamber to cause a discharge current to flow and smooth rectifications parts H1 , H2 . A pressure sensor SP is provided. A reference voltage generating part SV and a driving circuit Dr which are a control circuit for outputting high voltage so that based on an output signal of the pressure sensor SP, a fixed discharge current can flow even if an altitude above the sea level is changed.</p> |
