PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a levee protection facility which is capable of releasing troubles which are required to move and set a levee protection board with hand and which operates single-handedly and simple in structure and low cost as well. SOLUTION: In a levee protection facility which is provided with a levee protection board 4 which is usually housed and set up so as to prevent the flooding of water into a defense block during emergency, a housing recessed area 5 is provided on a floor surface 3 of an entrance of the defense block. A levee protection board 4 having a buoyancy against water flooding into the housing recessed area 5 in the defense block is provided so that it may be housed inside the housing recessed area 5 during normal time and it may float up to an overflowing preventive elevation from the housing recessed area 5 by the buoyance of water which is going to overflow in emergency. |
