The package is made from two layers (1,2) of a recyclable transparent plastic such as PVC or polyethylene, the rear layer having a blister (3) to contain the product being offered for sale. The two layers have the same dimensions and are joined together by adhesive, thermal welding or high-frequency welding round their edges after inserting the product. The blister can be perforated at the same time as the package is cut out to allow a perfumed product to be smelt without opening the package. The front layer (1) of the package is printed, on one or both sides, on an opaque background, leaving a transparent window for viewing the product. The printing is made using recyclable inks with no heavy metal content.
