<p>The garment, especially for a young child, has at least one aperture (3, 4) in its outer surface, through which an identity label (5) attached to the inside of the garment can be partially seen. The aperture(s) can form part of a design (2) on the garment's outer surface, while the label is preferably attached to the inner surface by its upper edge, either by adhesive, sewing or strips of a looped and hooked material, e.g. Velcro (RTM). The identity label can be supplied ready sewn to the inside of the garment and designed as a printed form which is filled in with details such as name, address and telephone number. The garment design (2) can be in the form of a human or animal face, with the apertures forming its eyes.</p> |
