Transparent plastic container for small objects

The transparent polypropylene box has a rectangular base with a lid hinged along one long edge. In the middle of the side opposite the hinge the wall is a rebated section which gives added strength. At the top of the rebate, a cylindrical pillar protrudes from a thickened section. The thickened section and the pillar protrude through a slot in the lid. After the container has been filled, the top of the pillar is flattened by hammering. The user opens the package by slicing the flattened head with a sharp knife.
