The textile panels are made in a continuous strip, with the individual panels (P1, P2) separated at the appropriate intervals by transition zones (1) in which the weft is made from fusible fibres so they can be cut by an ultrasound cutting/welding head. The fibres are made, for example, from polyamide with a low melting point. The panels can be edged by strips (2) produced by large-diameter weft filaments located before and after each panel.
