1. The method of producing surface materials of polymerized complexes of 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole and transition metals with the presented general formula, where M refers to a transition metal, such as copper, silver, iron, cobalt and nickel, or a mixture of two such metals; A refers to an anion, preferably an acetate anion; X refers to 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole; CH2O refers to a complex polymerized with formaldehyde; and s refers to an inorganic carrier, such as silica, clays and zeolites. Characterized in that: A salt containing one of the above-mentioned metals, or a mixture of salts of two of the mentioned metals, mixed with formaldehyde - at the ratio of 2 moles of aminotriazole, 1 mole of a metal salt and 1 mole of formaldehyde - are introduced into the water solution of 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole. Then, the carrier s is added and the resultant surface material bound to the carrier is isolated and, possibly, subjected to thermal treatment.
