A pump including a fixed body or stator (2), a rotor (3) with circumferential rollers (6) and a flexible fluid transfer tube (1) inserted therebetween and squeezed by at least two consecutive rollers (6) defining a transfer chamber (7). The fixed body or stator (2) comprises a recessed portion (5) with a constant radius centred on the axis (4) of the rotor (3), followed by a portion (5a) with a gradually increasing radius (R1, R2, ..., Rn), as measured from the axis (4) of the rotor (3). The pump discharge rate (D) is thus substantially constant. Said pump may be used in medicine.
