Date Jan. 16, 1997A hair treatment formulation for coloring human hair comprising a substantive dye or oxidation dye precursors and a hair care agent comprising a compound of the formula (I): wherein R1 is hydroxy, C1 to C3 alkoxy, or a group of the formula (II): wherein R2 is hydrogen or C1 to C3 alkyl, R3 is hydrogen or methyl, R4 is hydroxy, -(CH2)3-NH2, 4-hydroxyphenyl, or H2PO3, R5 is hydroxy, -CH2)3-NH2, or 4-hydroxyphenyl, and R6 is hydrogen or C1 to C3 alkyl, including physiologically compatible salts of organic or inorganic bases of said compounds of formula (I). The coloring formulations according to the invention condition and improve the structure of hair, eliminating the need for the usual post-coloring treatments. |
