SCISSORS WITH MOVABLE GRIP EYE

A pair of scissors, specifically barbers scissors, comprises two shanks (1, 2) and shank eyes (4) at the ends of the shanks, at least one of the shank eyes (4) being provided with a movable grip eye (5) for the thumb or finger and used for manipulating the scissors. To allow precise guiding of the scissors with a movable grip eye (5) and secure positioning of the latter inside the shank eye (4), it is proposed that the shank eye (5) should be enclosed along its entire circumference by the associated shank eye (4) and provided on both sides with guide elements which project radially outwards and are laterally contiguous with the shank eye (4), thereby ensuring that it can rotate freely about the axis which is perpendicular to the shank eye (4) while being mounted in the shank eye (4) in such a way as to be incapable of rotation perpendicular to the said axis.
