Tobacco smoke filter for pipes and cigar and cigarette tips - in which the filter material (e.g. active carbon) carries or is mixed with a carrier of aromatic substances and vitamin(s) released during use

A filter for smoking devices such as pipes, cigar or cigarette tips has a filter sleeve (10) with closures (2) at the ends and encloses a filter material which removes harmful substances from the tobacco smoke drawn through it. Either the filter material itself is a carrier of aromatic substances and/or vitamins, or special aromatic substances and/or vitamin carrier bodies are distributed substantially throughout the filter material, as a result of which the tobacco smoke flowing through the filter is enriched with aromatic flavour and/or vitamins. Also claimed is a filter for tobacco smoke having a sleeve made from paper which is used as a carrier for aromatic substances or vitamins.
