The child's seat has a seat (1) and backrest (2) consisting of moulded foam plastic in shells (12,13) of rigid plastics. The moulded foam parts have knot-shaped projections (16) in their region facing the child's body, enclosing air spaces (8a) between them. The air spaces are connected via through apertures (18,19) to the reverse side of the moulded foam parts. There are air guide channels (14,15) between the moulded foam parts and the shells to take away air made humid by body humidity.
