The insulation cover (1) is fitted over the connections (9) between the winding rods and acts simultaneously as a mould for the resin material (10) used for filling the space between the conductor insulation (5) of the winding rod connection and the insulation cover. The insulation cover has linear beads (3) and/or linear grooves (4) acting as positioning elements for the sides and base of the cover and providing linear points of contact between the cover and the conductor insulation. -
