<p>A refrigerator oil, particularly for hydrofluorocarbon refrigerants, prepared by incorporating a base oil comprising an organic oxygen compound such as polyalkylene glycol or polyester with a fluorosilicone oil exhibiting a kinematic viscosity of 500 mm2/sec or above at 25 °C; and a method for lubricating a compression refrigeration system with the above refrigerator oil. The use of the above oil is effective in inhibiting the bubbling occurring in the boiling of a refrigerant dissolved in the oil, and the refrigeration system using the oil can attain effective lubrication.</p> |
