Glazing including a transparent substrate (1) particularly made of glass and provided with at least one functional transparent conductive and/or low-emissive thin layer (3). The optical and particularly colorimetric appearance of the glazing may be enhanced by arranging at least one intermediate layer (2) with a declining refractive index gradient between the two sides thereof between the substrate (1) and the functional layer (3). A device for making said glazing is also disclosed.
