The reflector comprises a cylindrical throughflow cell (11) with inlet and outlet pipes (10) for the gas or liquid under examination. This is surrounded by light wave guides (B) fed from a spectrum-selective element (2). At each end of the cylinder is a concave mirror (6,12). A laser (3) provides the stimulating light source.
