The pipe and hose installation fitted at and in media columns, for the processes of body fluids, has welded pipe groups at the take-off points (12-15) which can be monitored at a mounting frame (9). A pipe section (23) passing through has pipe connections for linking to the central pipe and/or the hose network, with one or more pipe branches (20) to hold the take-off connections (4-7), valves and/or take-offs (21), pref. with threaded bonds. The connections to the central pipe and/or hose network are pipe connections vertically downwards at the take-off points (12-15), or at an acute angle to the verticals, downwards and outwards. The transfer point between a hose and a pipe connection is smooth, without any projecting edges or steps. All the hoses and pipes, from and to the central processing stage, are pressure resistant and resistant to heat, with smooth inner surfaces to give a flow free of turbulence. All the connection points and pipe branches (20) are pressure resistant and resistant to heat for the feed of fluids such as a permeate or a concentrate to the take-off connections (4-7).
