The central pumps (12,13) are formed as high pressure pumps. They have actuating motors (14,15) which are switchable by a minimum level indicator (19) in the supply tank (2,3), and are thereby connected through a time relay to the actuating motor of the corresponding other supply tank. The actuating motors in addition to the common switch (22) are automatically connected through a maximum level indicator (20). Pressure limiting valves are fitted in the lines (11) behind the central pumps and are connected to the supply tank on the overpressure side.
