PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor required for calculation of reliability and to improve considerably the calculation speed by conducting conversion processing according to a new rule simplifying the structure of a communication network without changing the reliability of the communication network. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a key board or the like as an input device 70 in addition to a control section 10, a discrimination section 20, a conversion section 30 and a storage section 60. Then rules to simplify the configuration of a communication network composed of (A): deletion of a numeral corresponding to a communication equipment not through any communication path, (B): deletion of data of a communication equipment (a) from communication network configuration data when all of communication paths via the communication equipment (a) are coincident with all communication paths via a communication equipment (b) and revision of a fault probability of the communication reception (b) according to a reliability calculation formula of a series structure, and (C): deletion of a numeral relating to a communication path B from communication network configuration data when a communication part A is a part of the communication path B and the communication capacity reserved by the communication path A is a multiple α of a prescribed value or over. |
