<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the fear that the toe side of a putter head might look as if it were yawed when a golf player addresses, and, at the same time, obtain a sound directional stability by forming a mildly curved face part, with a swollen center, from the toe side to the heel side of a face part. SOLUTION: A putter with a shaft 2 attached to a head main body 1 has a mildly curved part, with a swollen center, from the toe 4 side to the heel 5 side on a face part of the head main body 1. The radius (R) of a curvature of the curved part of the face part 3 should preferably be 500 to 1000mm. In addition, an anodic oxide film is formed on the surface of the head main body 1 and a coating film is applied on the anodic oxide film. Thus the surface hardness is increased and the corrosion is inhibited by forming the anodic oxide film on the head main body 1. Further, the microholes formed by an anodic oxidation treatment are filled by applying the coating film on the surface of the anodic oxide film.</p> |
