<p>PURPOSE: To provide an electrophotographic color developer in which the difference of the charge amt. among colors of color toners is decreased and a multicolored image having good transfer property, cleaning property and charge holding property can be formed, and to provide the production method of the color toner used for that. CONSTITUTION: This electrophotographic color developer consists of color toners of plural colors each containing at least a binder resin and an org. pigment. Each color toner is produced by preparing a water-base slurry or a wet cake containing org. pigment grains of <=0.15μm average major axial length, adding a resin in which a conductive powder or a charge controlling agent is preliminarily dispersed so as to exchange the water content in the water-based slurry or the wet cake with the resin, melting and kneading the obtd. color resin compsn. in which the conductive powder or the charge controlling agent and the org. pigment grains are dispersed with a binder resin, and then pulverizing.</p> |
