PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly stop a car at each floor by installing a car stopping device on the passenger cage and having it elevate with the car. SOLUTION: When an elevator car 1 stops at a floor, an arm 5 installed on the car 1 is rotated by a shaft 9 and a helical gear by driving force of a door motor 7 and it is engaged with an arm support member 4. As a head end of the arm support member 4 is extended in a Y letter shape, the arm 5 is easily engaged with the arm support member 4 even when a position of the car 1 is slightly slipped out. Additionally, as an engagement part of the arm 5 has a roller, resistance due to frictional force is small at the time of engagement, and impulse and oscillation at the time of engagement can be restrained by an elastic body such as rubber, etc., on a surface of the roller. Change of a load by getting on-and-off of a passenger and a cargo can be controlled so that the load applied on the arm 5 becomes zero by rotation of a sheave or movement of a linear motor before the car 1 starts to elevate as it is detected by a load detector 6 installed on the arm 5. |
