PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable changing of the pitch of a number of troughs planted to fix leaf vegetables according to their growth and changing their arrangements so as to have a little bit larger pitch at a daily transfer. SOLUTION: This gradual pitch increasing-type trough group transferring device is constituted by conveying transferring bodies 4i for transferring the group of troughs consisting of the troughs having a same pitch as one unit with a spacing rod 14 changing its position at a constant whole stroke length under a shuttle movement. By suitably selecting a distance between pushers for going and returning movements of a block like projection 17 installed at the spacing rod 14 or a distance between pushed surfaces for going and returning movements formed at shift members 13i in the transferring bodies 4i , it is possible to move the whole transferring bodies 4i forward and backward, while making walking beams 2i move a walking movement, and to make lifting up and down beams 3i move only with up and down movements. Thus, the group of troughs are conveyed and, at that time, the pitch of the troughs is increased gradually. Thus, the group of troughs can become those having a new trough pitch every day. |
