PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nutrition composition for horse free from giving a load to a horse, suitable for the improvement of nutrition conditions of horses, especially of racing horses and mainly containing essential amino acids. SOLUTION: This nutrition composition for horse mainly contains essential amino acids consisting of valine, isoleucine, leucine, tryptophan, phenylalanine, methionine, lysine, threonine and histidine. The nutrition composition especially having a ratio of essential amino acids/non-essential amino acids of >=0.5 is effective. Giving the nutrition composition to a horse has the following effects. For a racing horse on active duty, fodder consumption does not decrease after racing, accordingly, the horse can recover quickly from fatigue, and the improvement of performance is expected. For a horse having trouble such as injury, curing or recovery is accelerated. For a horse in conception, nutritional conditions are improved, and accordingly an abortion rate is decreased. Further, the growth of the foal is accelerated since the nutritional value of postpartum horse milk is improved. For a growing foal, the growth is accelerated than in the case of a conventional food. |
