PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove magnetic foreign matters mixed in fine particle sludge and machine oil of high density. SOLUTION: Dirty liquid introduced into a filter tank 1 is caused to flow from the outside of a cylindrical filter 3 dipped in the tank 1 to the inner side thereof and magnetic foreign matters mixed into the dirty liquid are captured by the filter 3, and these matters are separated from the filter 3 by means of backwashing devices 35, 37 to attract the matters to the surface of a magnetic drum 15 and liquid components are pressed out of the matters attracted to the drum 15 by means of a press roller 22. Thereafter, the foreign matters are scraped off. |
