<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rigidity of a bolt combination part in a disc brake combining by bolt two division type caliper produced by casting aluminum alloy. SOLUTION: A cylinder part 22 is installed in an outer caliper 9 and an inner caliper 8 and a piston is inserted facingly. A bolt 10 is inserted in the inner caliper 8 and threadedly engaged with the screw part of the outer caliper 9. Pipe members 11, 12 made of iron is castingly inserted in the inner caliper 8 at the casting time of the caliper. Cylinder members 13, 14 with a bottom made of iron is wrapped up by casting in the outer caliper 9 at the casting time of the caliper and screw parts 18, 19 are formed by tapping.</p> |
