<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning apparatus to be installed easily in an air flowing path of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: As for an air cleaning apparatus which is installed in an air flowing path of an air conditioner main body to collect dust in air flowing in the air flowing path; the apparatus main body 1 is composed of an installation member 3 divided into a plurality of parts and at least one sheet of a dielectric filter 2 and the installation member 3 is installed in an aperture part of a grill 4 installed in the air flowing path of the air conditioner main body while the size being matched to the size of the aperture. Also, the dielectric filter 2 is cut while being matched with the size and installed by the installation member 3 and at the same time a d.c. high voltage electric power source 6 to apply d.c. high voltage to the dielectric filter 2 is installed in the installation member 3. As a result, the apparatus main body 1 can easily be installed in the air conditioner afterward only by installing the dielectric filter 2 by the installation member 3 in the interior side face of the grill 4 and thus dust in air flowing in the air flowing path during the operation of the air conditioner can efficiently be collected by the dielectric filter 2.</p> |
