<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a third person to easily recognize a position of an automobile by a simple means by covering a cap of an external mirror with a material to reflect the light. SOLUTION: A cap 1 of an external mirror has a projecting main outside surface 2 and the edge 3, and is installed on a holder plate of the external mirror of an automobile through a stop finger formed inside the cap 1, and perfects a mirror case of the external mirror. A notch 4 of a corner part of the cap 1 is considered so as to cover a mirror leg, and the external mirror of the automobile is fixed to a car body of the automobile by the mirror leg. The cap 1 which is composed of hard synthetic resin and is painted harmoniously with car body painting of the automobile, has on a main outside surface 2 a V-shaped stripe 10 composed of lacquer to reflect the light, and the stripe 10 extends over the whole width of the outdoor surface 2 of the cap 1. The light reflecting lacquer of the stripe 10 can be maintained in a color of the cap, but can contain a small pellet to reflect a large number of light.</p> |
