PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To composite images read through separation without provision of a mark or the like to an original in advance. SOLUTION: The image composting device is provided with a 1st address generating circuit 1 commanding a position of a reference area used for coincidence discrimination, a 2nd address generating circuit 2 commanding a position of a collation area collated by the reference area, a 1st image memory 3 and a 2nd image memory 4 storing the image as a result of two divided readings, a check circuit 5 discriminating whether or not an image of the reference area is an image suitable for pattern matching, a coincidence discrimination circuit 6 retrieving the position at which the two division images are matching each other, a composite circuit 7 compositing the two divided images into one image and a 3rd image memory 8 storing the composited image. |
