GAS TURBINE INTAKE COOLING SYSTEM AND ITS OPERATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduce a cost for additional equipment and improve reliability of a chiller cooling system by indirectly diffusing exhaust heat of the chiller to a combined plant through bearing cooling water. SOLUTION: Cooling water to a chiller 22 is extracted through an extraction pipe 29 branched from an outlet pipe 27 of each of heat exchangers 12a to 12c composing a bearing cooling system. The cooling water which is increased in temperature by the chiller 22 returns to a downstream side piping 28 of pumps 17a to 17c through a return pipe 30 in a cooling circuit of the chiller. In such a structure, when the chiller 22 is operated, a reserve machine 18 is driven and bearing cooling water is supplied to the chiller 22. A gas turbine intake cooling system is operated without influencing on a plant side.
