PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capillary for condensing X rays which is easily manufactured and makes it possible to obtain fine beams with high illumination. SOLUTION: The capillary for condensing X rays is easily manufactured by shaping an inner wall 6 of the capillary as a simple conical trapezoid. Moreover, fine beams with high illumination can be obtained by totally reflecting all the collisions of X rays 1, 2 and 3 entering parallel to the central axis of the capillary and the inner wall of it to prevent X rays from leaking due to the penetration of them from the inner wall face and contriving the shape of the inner wall 6 of the capillary so that all the X rays incident on it can reach an outlet hole 7 of it. |
