PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an intermediate sound of proper intermediate timbre from plural kinds of musical sound and a smooth change in timbre concerning the intermediate timbre by properly processings the sound source waveform and parameters other than those designating the sound source waveform respectively. SOLUTION: When sliders and buttons constituting an operating piece group 18 are operated, the CPU detects these operations. In this case, various kids of data corresponding to the conditions of the detected operation are held in a RAM 14 in which a P1 register, a P2 register, etc. are set. And, the CPU 10 reads and executes the program stored in a ROM 12 and controls a sound source 22 is accordance with the operating conditions of sliders and buttons forming the operation piece group 18 to set timbre based on the operation of the operation piece group 18 in the sound source 22. And, when an intermediate timbre mode is selected, the intermediate timbre of the intermediate sound is changed from the timbre allotted to P1 to that allotted to P2. |
