PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake controller for a vehicle, capable of increasing emergency braking force while restraining change of a structure to the minimum extent. SOLUTION: A brake controller is provided with a spool member 18 slidably installed in a cylinder body 2, facing a pressure chamber 10 on one end, facing a regulator pressure chamber 24 in the cylinder body on the other end, and for outputting pressure to a regulator port 2a by controlling the pressure from a pressure source 26 by the axial movement after receiving pressure in the pressure chamber and pressure in the regulator pressure chamber. Pressure to be output from the regulator port is introduced into the regulator pressure chamber and also into wheel cylinders 33, 34, 35, 36 of the vehicle, and an emergency braking operation detecting means 65 and a brake pressure switching means 62 for communicating the pressure source with the wheel cylinders when the emergency braking operation is detected are provided. |
