<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly reduce the circuit scale and chip size of a signal line driving circuit for liquid crystal display and facilitate its manufacture. SOLUTION: A driving part for two adjacent channels consists of a couple of registers 10L and 10R, a couple of 1st data latch circuits 12L and 12R, a couple of 1st switching circuits 14L and 14R, a couple of 2nd data latch circuits 16L and 16R, a couple of level shifters 18L and 18R, a couple of DA converters 20L and 20R, a couple of output amplifies 22L and 22R, a couple of 2nd switching circuits 24L and 24R, and a couple of output pads 26L and 26R. To the left-side DA converter 20L, (K) gradation voltages V1-VK which are all plus from a gradation voltage generating circuit 28, are applied. To the right- side DA converter 20R, on the other hand, (K) gradation voltages V'K-V'1 which are all minus from the gradation voltage generating circuit 28, are supplied.</p> |
