PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an image forming device compact by eliminating a carrying parh being a buffer corresponding to one sheet of recording material to a fixing device from an ink jet system ink head part by the switching control of a recording material carrying action. SOLUTION: An image forming recognition means judges whether a color image formation by a second image forming means is executed or not as to the image formed on the recording material. When the color image formation by the second image forming means is not executed, the recording material is continuously carried at a constant speed in order to execute a black-and-white image formation by a first image forming means. However, when it is judged that the color image formation by the second image forming means is executed, the carrying of the recording material of the fixing device is executed synchronously with the carrying state of the recording material for the color image formation by the second image forming means by recording material carrying cycle control means 35-38. Therefore, the excellent image formation is executed without providing the device with the excessive recording path for adjusting the carrying state of the recording material. |
