PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembly and maintenance workability by providing contact device mounting parts opening upward on a cover body of an air bag device, fixing contact devices on the same parts by means of a fixing means, and providing working opening parts on the parts facing the back surface of the contact device mounting parts of a lower cover. SOLUTION: In a steering wheel 1, an air bag device attached to a boss part is covered with a cover body 11 made of a soft resin, and a pair of contact devices (horn switches) 21, 22 are attached near the right and left ends in the cover body 11. A lower cover 8 provided with a flat plate part 8a in which an opening part 8j is formed in the center part is provided, and attaching bosses 8k are formed by being positioned on the right, left, front and rear parts of the flat part 8a. Right and left working openings 8m, 8n are respectively formed from the flat plate part 8a of the lower cover 8 to spoke connecting parts 8g, 8i. Fixing or releasing work for the contact devices 21, 22 are performed from the working opening parts 8m, 8n. |
