<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and decrease the cost, by unifying a handrail unit with the lateral members of the handrail unit body formed by folding a metallic plate and the vertical wall connecting the lateral members and arranging copings on the unit body. SOLUTION: Brackets are protruded from the external wall of a building and studs are erected at every appropriate distance at the positions along the periphery of a balcony, on the floor frame 3 installed on the brackets to fix a handrail unit 9. In this case, these handrail units 9 are arranged at the periphery of the balcony. The lateral members of the upper and lower ends of the handrail unit 9 body are unified with the vertical wall 12 connecting both lateral members. The space between the upper end of the plate 10b positioned to turn outside the balcony and the lower end of the plate 10b, is connected with the wall 12. The copings 13 are arranged to cover the bodies of handrail units 9 and decoration covers 14 are fixed to the lower end of the bodies panels. In this way, the number of constituting parts is reduced in comparison with conventional cases. The workability at the construction site is increased and also the construction cost is reduced.</p> |
