<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction in which electric power consumption can be reduced and further a safety device is not separately needed by a method wherein in the case of dielectric heating cooking, steam is cyclically supplied to obviate a drying phenomenon due to evaporation of misture of food thereby to keep the taste of food and state of cooked food in original state and voltage in need of steam generation can be set at a low level. SOLUTION: There is provided a steam generation device 50 including a water tank 70 and a first and second electrodes which are oppositely disposed on one side in the tank 70 so as to be displaced by a predetermined distance, and steam is generated by electric current applied between both the electrodes.</p> |
