SUBSTANCE: target indicator uses a collimating lens and a laser diode with a built-in photodiode installed in the housing in the optical axis; connected to them are the control circuit including the final stage loaded into the laser diode, and the power source. The control circuit additionally uses a reference-input element, differential stage, buffer stage. The first input of the differential stage is connected to the photodiode output, and its second input os connected to the reference-input element, the output is connected to the final stage via the buffer stage. Stabilization of the laser diode quiescent point makes it possible to reduce the device overall dimensions due to the decrease of the number of power cells; rejection of the modulating mode makes it possible to increase the range of action and enhance the service life of the power source.
