摘要 FIELD: thermal engineering; thermoelectric heat energy converters. SUBSTANCE: coolant energy is applied to hot junctions 10 of thermoelectric generator 6 by means of radiant heat transfer during which cooling member 8 of heat-transfer apparatus 6 is used as thermal radiator of electromagnetic waves that converts energy of coolant into radiant heat flow energy. In the process, heat radiation flow energy generated by radiating surface 11 of thermal radiator is concentrated near hot junctions 10 of thermoelectric generator 6. Heat transfer from cold junctions is effected due to heat exchange between surfaces of cold junctions 7 of thermoelectric generator 6 and thermal radiator surface. Heat flow energy transferred from cold junctions 7 is regenerated by its conversion with aid of thermal radiator of electromagnetic waves into thermal radiation flow and concentration of energy of this thermal radiation flow near hot junctions 10 of thermoelectric generator 6. For implementing this method, use is made of plant that has cooling member 8 of heat-transfer apparatus-converter of hollow design. Thermoelectric generator 6 is placed inside cooling member 8 of heat-transfer apparatus 5 which functions as converter of coolant heat energy into thermal radiation flow energy; it is made as thermal radiator of electromagnetic waves with means for concentrating energy of thermal radiation. The latter are placed in space 9 for ensuring concentration in the vicinity of hot junctions 10 of thermoelectric generator 6. Area of radiating surface 11 of thermal radiator of electromagnetic waves should be larger than that of surfaces of hot junctions 10 of thermoelectric generator 6 absorbing concentrated radiation.
