FIELD: coal and petrography methods of study of organic matters, evaluation of oil and gas matrix potential of sedimentary thicknesses, specifically, of level of maturity of aquagenic organic matter by reflecting capability of microcomponents. SUBSTANCE: in compliance with method samples of sedimentary rocks are taken, insoluble organic matter is extracted from them. Two-side polished coal-petrographic sectional specimen is prepared, its microscopic examination with determination of reflecting capacity is conducted in passing and reflected light. Catagenesis of oil and gas matrix rocks is estimated by measurements of reflectivity index of sorbomixtinite in air (Ra). With values of Ra within interval from 52 up to 61% zone of initial mesocatagenesis is fixed, zone of medium mesocatagenesis is fixed with values of Ra within interval from 61 up to 64% and zone of deep mesocatagenesis is fixed within interval of values of Ra from 64 up to 70%. EFFECT: improved authenticity and expanded application field of method. |
