FIELD: glass making industry. SUBSTANCE: glass sheet heated up to softening point is moved by conveyor onto circular mould and subjected to bending under pressure. Sheet movements are preferably effected without affecting optical quality of glass. Sheet movement is effected by lowering conveyor portion from upper position to lower position which is under upper surface of circular mould. Sheet bending is effected by lifting both circular mould and conveyor. EFFECT: various bending methods can be used by proposed apparatus. 8 dwg
