PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a film material which has a sufficient light transmission and hardly exhibits the degradation in light transmission due to staining and obtain a well-lighted building having a roof using the same. SOLUTION: This material mainly comprises an acrylate ultraviolet absorber having a mol.wt. of 1,000 or lower and a fluororesin layer having an m.p. of 100-250 deg.C or mainly comprises a fluororesin layer contg. an ultraviolet absorber and has a haze (measured according to JIS K-7105) of the resin layer of 40% or lower. A building of the invention has a roof using the material.
