PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencing device which is not deteriorated in stability and silencing property of the control system even when the distance between the detecting means and the outputting means is made large. SOLUTION: The device is constituted from a detecting means 1, a control means 2 and an outputting means 3. The control means 2 forms an open loop together with the above outputting means 3 and the detecting means 1 which form the object of control 13, and is used to limit the phase characteristic of the transfer function of the open loop in a specified frequency band fw to be less than -2πand within a specified width of less thanπwith odd number timesπas the center.
