The read circuit includes an EM signal detector which transmits analogue signals when radiation is received. Each in a number of elementary points (PEL) performs three functions. These functions are impedance matching, signal averaging and charge storing in memory and a return to zero function for the memory between two images. A signal processor transfers and converts the charge stored in memory into an analogue signal. The return to zero function is performed using the detection and impedance matching functions. Each elementary point is formed from an impedance matching circuit which is provided with a clock used to read the current provided by the detector.
