A radio clock receiving time information transmitted on long-wave, and selectively allowing reception of additional information such as control data, program data etc. for domestic equipment in which a clock with constantly correct time is required. The receiver circuit, and the aerial, is located spatially separated externally of the domestic equipment and signal transmission is conducted using light (IR) or electromagnetic waved (inductive) or acoustically (ultrasound) by a wireless method.
