A steering unit is in effective connection with both coupling units and both brake units. With the steering unit a steering signal + 1, representing the steering effect according to extent and direction, is producible. As intended rotary speed difference of the two drive wheels (7,7'), an adjustment (14) is produced as intended value. On the drive shaft (1), between the drive wheels and the coupling units (5,5') a speed sensor (11,11') is arranged. The brake units may be disc brakes (6,6') e.g. with ABS. The brake disc (8,8') of each disc brake can be enclosed by a brake saddle representing the vehicle brake (9,9') and the steering brake (10,10') e.g. with ASR.
