A shelf arrangement has at least one rail-like section (31) that may be at least approximately vertically arranged, and at least one holding element (1) that may be releasably attached to the rail, laterally moved or vertically adjusted along the rail section for supporting or holding by hanging an object or shelf. The section has at least one elongated sliding or guiding rail (37) with a free longitudinal edge along at least one side. The holding element has at least one section (5) with a slot-like opening (9) that engages the free edge. The opening of the guiding slot is wider than the thickness of the guiding rail placed in the slot. The holding element is firmly held on the rail by at least another releasable clamping or holding element (11). |
