A process is for bleaching a textile with a bleaching agent which consists of water enriched with ozone. An appts. for carrying out the process comprises a container (2) for accommodating the bleaching agent (1). The container (2) is associated with a pump (4) and an ozone enriching component (5), which are connected to the container (2) in series via lines (3). The ozone enrichment component (5) is connected to a preceding ozoniser (9) and a succeeding conveyor pump (11).
