Machine for transportation of bottles and similar containers

The machine transports bottles or similar containers, and has a feed conveyor which moves them in a line behind one another, with a predetermined spacing. A predetermined number of bottles are then moved laterally to a processing position, by a transverse conveyor which has pushing equipment. Following this, they are pushed into a removal conveyor, which is roughly parallel to the feed conveyor. The pushing equipment has pairs of panels or strips (8,9), and in each pair these have a separation which corresponds to the external diameter of the bottles. They may also act as longitudinal guides while the bottles are being fed in the longitudinal direction.
